Well, the colder weather is here. I am one of those people who love the sun and the beach. I never used to look forward to winter. Until I reframed winter in my mind. Winter can be a powerful time to refuel and think about what you would like to be doing when summer rolls around again. What could you put in action right now that could lead to a summer goal being achieved? I tend to look at winter as sowing the seeds. So, in the winter I usually take the time to do some study. What is it you could be doing during winter? maybe you could be working towards something you have always wanted to achieve? If you are setting up a new goal, think about exactly what it is you want to achieve. Once you have figured that out, ask yourself what is the reality right now with that goal? Can it be achieved now? Is it part way achieved? Once you know where you are the going with this goal, do a brainstorm. Try not to think or analyse your ideas too much. Just let the ideas roll and write them down. Once you have completed your brainstorm, look at all your ideas and choose one option that will move you closer to achieving that goal. With that one think now a priority, what will you need to make it happen? Do you need to do some research? What resources already in our community can you use? Who would your support group be? Is there someone you know who has already achieved this goal? If so, ask them for some tips. And finally, put a time frame on it. If you say I will do it this year before you know it this year has passed by. If you say I will complete this by November 25th, 2017, your brain has something to work towards. Figure out what your blocks might be, what might derail you with this goal? How can you get around that? Give it a good go. You might need to rethink some things along the way, and that is OK too. Have you ever dreamed of having your own business?
Do you think it might just be for "them" and not you?
Do you think you probably don't have what it takes to make it happen?
Do you fear failure?
Business plans are the foundation of any good business.
A business plan will help you plan out and do lots of research and deep questioning before you even start.
You can download many business plans of the internet, most of them run along the same lines of questions.
When do you decide to take a hobby into a business?
Effective questioning of what your product/service is, who your customers are going to be, realistically looking at expenses and set up costs, running costs, there are so many questions.
And then what is your belief system telling you, do you really believe you can succeed or do you have a self-limiting belief that might not support you?
Do lots of research, ask lots of questions, ask someone who is already doing what you want to do, they might let you know some tips and how to avoid some downfalls.
But most of all have the desired outcome that is clear and concise.
Ask a negative person to look over your business plan, negative people have a skill of pointing things out to you that they don't like or think are wrong. Use those skills, as they might just tell you something you have overlooked.
Start a business plan before you start your business.
The weather sure can have an impact on how we are feeling.
The nice weather generally makes us feel like we want to get
out and about and do things.
Whether it be around our home or out and about
visiting people and places.
Nature can offer one of the best stress releases. To be
able to STOP and look around, smell the aromas where we are, hear those
noises that nature gives us. The smell of flower, the beauty of the nature
around us, the sounds that nature gives us, the buzzing bee, the crashing of
the waves on the beach.
Another wonderful stress release is called grounding, that
is taking off your shoes and walking barefoot on the earth. This can be a
wonderful sensation and can provide stress release.Grounding or earthling has been around for
centuries. We tend to put shoes on if the ground is wet, but to walk barefoot
on the morning dew, or the grass that has been rained on, can help connect us
back to the earth.
Most of us tend to think things in our life are stressful, and
there are many fly by night potions and pills that can be sold to us to help us
feel at peace.Getting back to nature,
and enjoying nature, stopping and slowing down, to notice how wonderful the
world is and how while we are so busy, the grass is still growing, the clouds
are still moving, the tide is going in and out.Nature does this all effortlessly while sometimes we just get too busy to
